"Coloring The Texture Paste"

Hello on this Friday, January 19, 2018.
The month is at the half way mark.
I'm wondering if you are still remembering your goals that you set for this year?  I imagine, during the first week of January, you didn't miss a step in focusing on what you said you were going to do. Now that it is the middle of the month, some of us have stopped or don't remember.

I've made a card with the sentiment "Remember" on it.  It is not necessarily for resolutions or goals.  It could be used for any occasion.
This one will go in the box for the soldiers.

When I was playing around with stencils and paste during the holiday, I tried a method that I had seen others use for mix media.  Color your paste before applying it to the stencil.  This is what I did to achieve the look you see:

"You Are STRONGER Than You Know"

Hello family, friends, followers, visitors and viewers.
Thank you for your concerns and prayers on yesterday.
We made it to and from our destination (in the snow) without any problems.  Thanking God first and all of you all second for the protection and prayers.  Please don't let them stop.
Just by my observation of some of the people who were in the pre-op session on yesterday, a lot of them were nervous and with some of the comments made, some didn't have a positive out look on what will happen to them on next week.
I'm not having surgery  but my mouth open to say to the group, "you have to be positive and expect a great result or if you don't things can and will go downhill.  Prayer and a positive attitude will produce positive results".
Some of the people did agree with what I said.  Here, once again, I was sticking my voice into a situation that I was not invited into ...but...a voice inside of me said to say something because someone needs reassurance that everything is going to be okay.  They have to trust and believe in someone bigger than themselves.  (Thank you Father God for your instructions).
Okay, so this is what was my inspiration for this card today:
I'm adding this to the challenge at
Enabler's List:

When faced with difficult situations, you are stronger than you know.  God will give you the strength to endure and push through.
P.U.S.H. (pray until something happens)
