It is Monday! Glad to be back with you today to share in the crafting world with you. Yesterday, in our area we were still experiencing a wintry mix of freezing rain/sleet. The trees were glistening with ice. The weather men kept saying "happy 1st day of spring". I had to check my calendar to see if a change had been made because I've always thought spring came on March 20th. The calendar was correct and so were the weather men. When does spring begin? Meteorologically speaking, however, in the Northern Hemisphere the official spring season always begins on March 1 and continues through May 31. Happy Meteorological Spring! The season began yesterday, but mother nature didn't care (Astronomical Spring begins March 20th). Instead of flowers starting to bloom, and milder temps, we still have below normal temperatures and snow.
Another news tip: National Craft Month is March. Did you know that studies show that arts and crafts aid in our emotional well-being and can help to reduce stress? It is just plain fun to make stuff. How many of you agree? I reduce my stress every day by doing something in the craft field. Today, I have three cards made for prompt #61 @ Embrace Your Art 365, MojoMonday and Can You Case It #59. They all incorporate black, white and red.
