"Emphasis ....Pattern Paper"

Hello friends, followers, visitors, and viewers.
Most of you enjoyed your three day weekend and you're back at work today...not unless you're taking the full week off for your vacation.
Some children are beginning to count the final days of school.  My little "Sunshine" will finish on the 13th of June and off to camp she goes among other things she will be involved in during her summer break.  Maybe a couple of days with the "old folks" (lol).

Okay, don't you just love pattern paper?  Do you know how to mix it together or do you just use a piece with solid paper to fill in the gaps?  Or,  do you do like this crafter did, pull all the papers from the same paper pad so that you know it will match.   If the company put them together...what can go wrong?  Even if the papers came out of the same pad, you will have to see if it makes a good combination that is pleasing to the eye...not all patterns go well together.

Here are two different cards using paper from two different pads.  Let me know if they are pleasing to look at or if they need to be trashed:
This card was made with a Sizzix "ornate flowers" embossing folder and paper from Nicole "floral pattern paper pad.  I added a piece of ribbon and  NUVO red crystal drops to this card.  It in reference to scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6
This card will be entered in the challenge at http://www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com.

This card was made with paper from Recollections "Find The True Story" paper pad. I also used Our Daily Bread Designs "Layered Lacey Ovals" die for my sentiment background.  I followed the sketch from MojoMonday.blogspot.com
